Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Development of new products designs and materials and device structures, developing and studying new technologies and creating applications for product development.
2. Design and implementation of product experiments to meet yield improvement plans.
3. Application and development of material & process analysis and monitoring
4. Define head design specifications and communicate quality to downstream customers.
5. Design and implementation of experiments to optimize new and existing materials and processes.
6. Monitoring, creation, and management of intellectual property.
7. Working with academic partners to leverage the potential of applicable research.
8. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures
9. Application and development of electrical test strategies and methods
10. Tracking, recovery and analysis of downstream test data, and providing design and process feedback to the relevant teams
11. Shipment inspections including testing and evaluation of kWh meter and other products.
12. Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering or related Engineering course
- The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in the same function
- With background knowledge in electric meters
- Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to create design files such as circuit schematic, PCB Gerber file, Bill of Materials, etc
- Knowledgeable in different electronic communication protocols and wireless communication protocol
- Strong background in analog and digital electronics
- Experienced in microcontroller programming
- Knowledgeable in C and C++
- Able to demonstrate root cause analysis
- Knowledgeable in Raspberry Pi and Arduino
- Team player and can handle a team
